Saturday will mark 7 years since you staggered getting off that Christmas float. I can remember the chain of events like it was yesterday. What you were wearing, how you sounded, your beautiful, infectious smile. I am soooo thankful to have those happy memories. I just wish you were here to relive them with me. I had olivia in my class at animal crackers and i think of her often she was a very sweet girl. I couldn't believe it when i heard about what happened i guess things happen for a reason and now she is in a better place. She was a very lovable little girl and got along with everyone. Hi my friend, I read your words again about Olivia's sudden diagnosis, like Evan, and I appreciate the perspective only a mother who has lost a child has. I have seen glioma steal too many people in my life, and the only good thing about it is it is quick. While Evan suffered from the moment of diagnosis until we lost him six months later, we too were lucky and he and Olivia are the lucky ones, restored and perfect in Heaven. I have watched way to many suffer for years on end, often with no life whatsoever, especially in the case of the leukodystrophies. We understand and while we would give anything to have our kids back with us, we know better. Love to you my friend, gina
